More than 273 lakes can be found throughout the Lakes Region. Lake Winnespesaukee, at 22.9 miles long, 7.5 miles wide, with 274 islands, is the largest lake in the state. Fresh water swimming and lakeside dining, lodging, shopping, and entertainment are abundant.
