An exhibit of the Historical Society
of Cheshire County

Wyman Tavern, built in 1762, was the site of the first meeting of the Dartmouth College Trustees in 1770, and the gathering place of Keene’s Revolutionary Minutemen in April 1775. Guided tours. Ten period rooms.

There is a $3.00 admission fee per person to visit the tavern, with Historical Society of Cheshire County members admitted free.

From I-91 and West: I-91, Exit 3, follow Rte 9 into Keene. Straight to 3rd light, L on Main St. Tavern on left. From the East: Rte 101W to Keene
